By editing or posting on the Zombies, Run! Wiki, you agree to follow these rules.

General rules

  • Respect your fellow users. Friendly debates are welcome, but heated arguments and personal attacks are not.
  • Do not use any sort of slurs or bigoted language.
  • Swearing is allowed, but please try to keep it to a minimum.
  • Do not engage in "edit warring" with other users. If you and another user disagree over something on an article page, please discuss it on a Message Wall rather than reverting each other's edits over and over.
  • Do not harass other users. If someone asks you to stop talking to them, stop. If there is something you need to talk to them about, bring it up with an administrator.
  • Do not threaten other users.
  • Do not engage in excessive self-promotion. You may include a link to your website or social media profile on your User Page, but please don't post these links on article pages or send them to other users without being asked.
  • Do not solicit personal information from other users. This includes asking for their age, phone number, address, or any other sort of identifying information.
  • In compliance with Fandom's Terms of Use, all users of the Zombies, Run! Wiki must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old in California and the European Economic Area).

Editing rules

  • Do not vandalize pages. This includes deleting information for no reason, inserting spam or nonsense into pages, or posting inappropriate content such as gore or nudity.
  • Try to avoid adding any sort of "fanon" or "headcanon" content. If you feel this content is important to the article subject, you may add it to the page's Trivia section.
  • Do not add fanart to pages without the permission of the artist. All artists must be properly credited with their name/username and links to their website, profile, and/or wherever the image was originally posted.
  • Try to cite your sources whenever possible. Specific references are preferred, but even a vague reference is better than no reference. A reference can be created by clicking the Cite button in the Visual Editor (looks like an open book) or by using <ref></ref> tags in the source editor, like this:
    <ref>Season 2 Mission 12</ref>

Blocking rules

Users may be blocked on this wiki for the following reasons:

  • Recurring vandalism or spamming.
  • Recurring harassment, including hounding, personal or legal threats, posting of personal information, repeated messaging and ignoring their request to be left alone.
  • Continual edit warring.
  • Making a personal attack on another user.
  • Sockpuppetry.
  • Asking other users for personal information such as age, location, etc.
  • User is found to be underage (younger than 13 years old in most places; younger than 16 years old in California and the European Economic Area).

Minor offenses will receive a warning. A user who has received multiple warnings or who has committed a more serious offense may receive a block. Blocks will increase in time depending on the number of offenses and type of offense. Users who repeatedly break the rules and show no intention of stopping despite receiving multiple blocks may receive a permanent block.

Do not create a new account to try and get around your block; this is called "ban evasion" and will result in your new account being blocked as well, and possibly an extension of your original block.

If you feel you have been blocked unfairly, you can reach out to an administrator on their Community Central Message Wall to appeal your block. If you feel an administrator is abusing their power and is unlikely to listen to your appeal, reach out to a different administrator. If you need to, as a last resort you can contact Fandom staff for help.
