Sheila Anthwaite is a woman who becomes involved in the events at Gadsen Manor.

Pre-apocalypse[]
Sheila's daughter Billie worked for Pandora Haze. Sheila didn't entirely understand the work she was doing, but she was proud of her daughter nevertheless. Three weeks after Billie was transferred to the Pandora Haze facility in Somalia, there was a chemical spill that poisoned the water supply and killed thousands of people. The higher-ups in Pandora Haze blamed the whole incident on Billie, although she was completely innocent. A journalist, Callum Donaldson, wrote articles exposing the incident, also blaming Billie for it. Billie was sent to prison. One of the other inmates was Rose, Callum's sister. Rose received a copy of Callum's article and shared it with the other inmates. As a result, Billie was relentlessly bullied until she killed herself. Overwhelmed with grief, Sheila decided to take revenge on Callum and Rose.[1]
The Way of All Flesh[]
Sheila hacks into Callum's phone and learns that he and Rose are going to be at Gadsen Manor on a certain date. Sheila goes there early to set things up, then leaves to join up with another group to create an alibi for herself.[1]
Sheila arrives at Gadsen Manor alongside Rose, Geri Kim, and Professor Walter Huebner, fleeing from a horde of zombies. Rather than heading inside the mansion like the others, Sheila chooses to climb up to a nearby tree house instead. Callum and several other people are already inside the manor.[2]
The tree conceals a secret passage that leads inside the mansion. Sheila makes her way to a control room where she activates the doorbell, drawing everyone else away from the kitchen. Sheila sneaks in and poisons Callum's food, then leaves to go back to the tree house before anyone can see her. Callum dies after eating the poisoned food.[1]
As night falls, Sheila screams for help. Jody lures the zombies away from the treehouse by ringing a bell, and Geri and Keith kill some of the with rifles. Sheila climbs down from the treehouse and everyone makes it safely back inside the manor. However, the zombies have now breached the fence.[3]
Sheila helps everyone to fortify the doors and windows. She reminds everyone that they need to check each other for zombie bites. Luckily no one has been bitten. The group goes to check out Callum's laptop that Keith and the Prof found earlier. Sheila pretends to be incompetent with technology due to her age, while secretly using a magnet in her sleeve to destroy the laptop's hard drive.[1] Later, Chris gathers Jody, Sheila, Rose, Geri, and the Prof in one room after going over the evidence so far. Chris declares that Rose is Callum's sister and that Rose is the one who killed him.[4]
Rose admits to being Callum's sister but is vague about whether she killed him. Sheila, Chris, and Jody take Rose to another room to question her further. Rose says that she killed her abusive alcoholic father and went to jail for it. She says that she tracked down Callum, but when he refused to acknowledge their relationship she killed him out of rage. Chris and Jody go to investigate some more while Sheila goes to help Keith, Manisha, Geri, and the Prof tear up floorboards to make more barricades.[5] Later that night, Sheila strangles Rose to death with chandelier wire.[1]
The next morning, with the knowledge that there's still a murderer among them and the horde outside growing by the hour, the group decides to search the manor again. Sheila, Geri, Chris, and Jody end up in the boiler room. Sheila tries to subtly dissuade them from examining further, knowing that they'll find evidence here, but they find Rose's scrapbook burnt nearly to ash. Keith and Manisha soon join them and report that there should be a secret room behind the storeroom. Sheila again tries to discourage them from finding it, but Keith discovers the switch and the wall swings open to reveal the control room. On one screen is the Prof, leaving. He somehow found a way outside the manor. On another screen they see that zombies have made it inside. Sheila hits the button to activate the fire doors, buying them some more time. Everyone flees upstairs.[6]
Chris calls everyone together to go over the evidence once more. Afterwards, he announces that Sheila is the killer. Sheila admits to it and explains her motivations and methods. With the murder mystery solved, the group turns to their next problem: the zombie horde. Sheila offers herself as a sacrifice. She's completed her revenge and she has nothing against the people still alive, so she might as well give her own life to help them get to safety. The group lowers Sheila down on a rope, and she uses a smoke detector as a noisemaker to draw the zombies away. The others manage to slip out through the fence as Sheila runs from the horde. She attempts to climb a tree to safety, but the zombies pull her back down and kill her.[1]
