"Out of the Woods" is the eleventh mission of Season 11.

There's something far worse than a cursed city of gold waiting in the jungle.

Hunters
Felix leads you through the jungle and explains that El Dorado was never a real place and he doesn't believe that Mateo would believe the myth either. His sister claimed to have seen the ghost with the map when they were children and he'd believed it was impossible – but it is difficult to tell truth from fiction since the zombies came.

Make Haste
Felix begins to tell you the story of the lost expedition of Alejandro De Los Desamparados. A small group of conquistadors tried to find the golden city, and kidnapped a native boy, Kua, to act as their guide. As the days passed, they started to believe that Kua was leading them in circles.

Flight
The conquistadors discussed tying Kua to a tree to torture him into talking. Kua overheard this and ran into the jungle. The conquistadors began to hunt him.

Silver Stream
The conquistadors found Kua and tortured him. Before he died, he whispered that Alejandro must drink the waters of life – from the silver stream.

Song
The brothers were betrayed by their companions who tried to kill them, and they were forced to run further into the jungle. In the aftermath, Alejandro made a copy of the map to give to his brother to placate his mistrust.

Rusted Armour
The conquistadors reached a clearing and decided to rest, but when Alejandro woke, his brother had left. Alejandro followed his trail but remembered Kua's words and drank from the nearby stream before heading onwards. He felt something probing at his mind, and grabbed his brother's arm to drag him out – but what emerged was not his brother, and Alejandro fled. Up ahead you spot a shambling figure wearing armour. Run!

Bright idea!
You shoot the zombie but it doesn't slow down. Sam realises that it's a V-type. Felix has an idea. Follow him towards the river!

Red Fungus
You jump across a stream filled with piranha and the V-type walks into the water only to be devoured by the fish. You recover a leather pouch from the remains which contains a map. Sam realises that there must be a patch of Red Fungus nearby – there's a good chance it's messed with Mateo's head.
