Letters, also known as Milestone Emails, are sent to the player's registered email address after completing certain missions or reaching specific distance milestones. The emails are sent after syncing the app with ZombieLink.
Milestone emails usually take the form of a letter written by one of the characters (such as Sam Yao) and addressed to Runner Five (or in the case of the New Adventures, whichever character the player is in the role of).
Milestone Emails were introduced in late November of 2016 for past and future missions and accomplishments. They can be seen as a supplement to the available achievements.
