Abel Township Radio Abel host

Jack Holden runs Radio Abel along with his partner Eugene Woods . His weapon of choice is a cricket bat he named W.G. after a famous cricketer. His birthday is February 29. His hair is ginger.

Before Abel TownshipEdit

At the time of the Zombie outbreak, he was attending a rave 'of dubious legality' in a field in Hampshire. He passed out in the woods for thirteen hours, thus escaping the zombie attack on the partygoers. Eugene found him by tripping over him after his car broke down and, realising that he had no idea what was going on, uttered the immortal line 'Come with me if you want to live'.

The two then embarked on the journey that eventually lead them to abel Township.

Entertainment RunEdit

  • Sam, Jack and the Doctor speculate on what entertainment the Major would like.
  • Jack and Janine would like video games.

Season TwoEdit

After the attack on Abel Township, presumably while leading zombies away from the town, Jack and Runner 12 were ambushed by a horde of zombies near a river.

Jack managed to take out several Zombies with W.G. and buy 12 time to escape, however the cricket bat broke. He was saved by Powell.

He was taken to Birkmyre Estate where he met Bella Ramsay and Beatrix Ramsay . He discovered that she studied chemical engineering, a skill Abel Township needed to help develop their water treatment system. He kept trying to convince the Ramsays to come back to Abel while waiting for rescue, after being convinced by Beatrix that she had contacted Abel. This proved to have been a lie, leaving Abel and Eugene believing that Jack was dead.

Eric Englert found a new cricket bat on a mission, and passed it on as a replacement for W.G. . Jack named it Sir Geoffrey.

During the second season of Radio Abel, Jack states that his birthday is February 29, and that he has never had his birthday fall on a Wednesday. February 29 fell on a Wednesday most recently in 1984 and 2012. Therefore, Jack was born in either 1988 or 1992, as any prior leap year would have resulted in his birthday falling on a Wednesday, and any later year would result in him being no older than 15 years old at the time of the conversation. Theoretically, it is also possible that Jack was born in 1984 if he does not consider his date of birth to be an actual birthday.
