Bonnie is Evan Deaubl's pet dog.
History[]
Pre-apocalypse[]
Evan acquired Bonnie when she was just a puppy. The two of them bonded and grew to love each other.[1]
Early Apocalypse[]
After the apocalypse began, Evan planned to fly out to a private island in the Caribbean where he would be safe and comfortable. But at the airfield, Bonnie slipped out of her leash and Evan ran after her. Before he managed to catch Bonnie, the pilot flew off without him.[1]
Season Two[]
Simon Lauchlan takes Bonnie out on a run while the runners are testing an anti-zombie formula. Bonnie runs off in excitement, causing the runners to give chase. Simon remembers that Evan gave him a dog whistle and blows it to get Bonnie attention. Bonnie returns to him. This event allows Abel Township to learn that zombies also react to the sound of dog whistles.[2]
Evan takes Bonnie with him on a mission to Bert Airfield. At the airfield, Evan steals a plane to take himself and Bonnie to his private island in the Caribbean.[3]
Season Five[]
Evan brings Bonnie with him when he returns from the Caribbean.[4]
Evan leaves Bonnie behind when he travels to Finland on a mission with the Abel team. When Evan falls down a crack in the ice and is preparing to sacrifice himself to let the others get away, he tells Sam and Runner Five to look after Bonnie for him.[5]
Bonnie ends up in the care of Peter Lynne, who says that she is a good dog, although he could do without her "constant mournful howling for her departed master".[6]
